Privacy, terms and documents
The short version, in plain English.
No boilerplate you have to decode. If something here is not clear, call and ask.
What we are
Single Source Projects is a remote preconstruction support company that serves contractors. We produce quantity takeoffs, preliminary estimates, bid support documents and procurement research, and we hand them to the contractor who hired us.
What we are not
- We do not sell construction services to homeowners or property owners. Our client is always a contractor. If you are a homeowner looking to have work done, we are not the right call and we will tell you so.
- We are not the contractor on your project. We do not perform construction work, we do not hold a contract with your customer or the property owner, and we do not act as a construction manager.
- We do not bid work in our own name. Your bid goes out on your letterhead, with your rates, your markup and your number. We do not contact your general contractor, your customer or your competitors.
- We do not set your price. Our estimate documents stop at direct cost. Overhead, contingency and margin are your business decisions.
Your documents
This is the part contractors actually care about, so it is first.
- We use your plans, specifications and project information for one thing only: producing the work you asked us for.
- We do not share them. Not your drawings, not your quantities, not your pricing, not your name — with anyone, including other contractors bidding the same job.
- We do not sell or rent your information to anybody, for any purpose.
- We keep completed project files so we can handle an addendum revision and so your next job starts from your assemblies and your format instead of from scratch. Ask us to delete your files at any time and we will, and confirm it.
- If you need a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement in place first, say so. Send yours and we will sign it before you send anything.
What we collect from the website
Only what the intake form asks for: your name, company, email, phone, trade, project name, project location, bid deadline, the service you want, a link to your documents, and any notes you add. That goes into our customer records and to an email we read.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots off the form, Resend to send email, Stripe to take payment (we never see or store your card details), and Vercel to host the site and count page views. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build a profile on you.
If we email you and you would rather we did not, reply and say so. That is the end of it, permanently.
The $99 first project
- New customers only, one per company.
- One project, one trade, plan set up to 20 sheets.
- Three business days is our target, counted from the point we have everything we need to start — which means usable documents we can actually open.
- One round of revisions is included. If an addendum changes the scope after we deliver, that is new work and we will quote it.
- You provide usable project documents. A link to the plans and specifications that opens without a login, or the files themselves. We cannot start without them, and the clock does not start until we have them.
- If your project is outside those limits, we tell you the real price before any work starts. You can go ahead at that price or take a refund. We do not do surprise invoices.
- If what we deliver is not useful to you, tell us what was wrong. We will fix it or refund the $99.
What we do not promise
We do not advertise an accuracy percentage, because we have not measured one and we are not going to make one up. What we do instead: every quantity we deliver carries the sheet it came from and whether it was measured, counted or calculated, so you can check the work rather than trust it. Anything the drawings do not settle comes back to you as a written question, not as a number we guessed.
Your bid is yours. Confirm quantities against the current plan set and any addenda before you submit. We are producing working documents to help you bid faster and more completely — we are not warranting your bid, and we are not responsible for what you choose to put in it.
